George Springer a late scratch for Houston on Monday
Houston Astros outfielder George Springer has been scratched from Monday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
What It Means:
No word just yet on why Springer was removed from the lineup but Tony Kemp will move over to centerfield, Marwin Gonzalez to left field, Yuli Gurriel to second with Tyler White back in action at first base on Monday. Alex Bregman moves up to the leadoff spot sans Springer.
Springer is batting .249 with 19 homers, 75 runs scored, and a .333 wOBA in 498 plate appearances this season.
