Marlins' Jose Urena to appeal his six-game suspension
Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Urena plans to appeal the six-game suspension he received for hitting Ronald Acuna with a pitch on Wednesday.
It seems unlikely that he will win his appeal. Acuna, who had hit a home run in seven of eight games at the time of the incident, was hit with the first pitch of the game. Urena still insists that it was unintentional.
We project Urena to have a 4.54 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, with 32 K, 15 BB, and 6 home runs allowed in his remaining starts this season.
