Delino DeShields Jr. (finger) lands on Rangers' disabled list

Texas Rangers center fielder Delino DeShields Jr. is on the 10-day disabled list due to a fracture of the tip of the right finger.

What It Means:

DeShields Jr. suffered the injury during Thursday's game. As of now, it's not clear how much time he's expected to miss. Carlos Tocci will start in center field for the Rangers on Friday against the Los Angeles Angels. Drew Robinson was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding roster move.

DeShields Jr. is averaging 8.4 FanDuel points in 85 games this season, while slashing just .204/.303/.272 with 18 steals, 47 runs scored, 2 homers, and 22 RBI across 348 plate appearances.
