Brandon Belt batting out of Giants' cleanup spot on Friday

San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt is hitting out of the cleanup spot versus right-hander Anthony DeSclafani and the Cincinnati Reds in Friday's series opener.

What It Means:

Belt worked out of the two-hole Wednesday in his first start since being activated from the 10-day disabled list. He will move down a couple spots while Alen Hanson takes over at second in the order. Buster Posey will bat third and Evan Longoria will hit fifth.

Belt is one of the best DFS value plays available Friday, according to numberFire's models, as we project him for 14.1 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,700. Hanson, at $2,200 and with a projection of 12.4 FD, also makes for an excellent value. Posey is pegged for 10.4 FD at a cost of $2,300. Longoria is expected to score 10.7 FD with a $2,700 price tag.
