Paul Goldschmidt moves into Diamondbacks' cleanup spot on Thursday
Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is batting out of the cleanup spot versus right-hander Jacob Nix and the San Diego Padres on Thursday.
Goldschmidt will return to first base after playing designated hitter during Tuesday's road date with the Texas Rangers. He's hit second or third in every start for the Diamondbacks since May 25. Eduardo Escobar will move down a spot into the five-hole.
numberFire's models project Goldschmidt to score 15.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $4,500 on Thursday. Escobar ($3,500) is pegged for 13.2 FanDuel points.
