Nolan Arenado (shoulder) playing designated hitter for Rockies on Tuesday
Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado is playing designated hitter against the Houston Astros on Tuesday.
Arenado made an early exit from Friday's game after tweaking something in his right shoulder, but he's made an appearance off the bench in both games since. He will handle DH duties and bat cleanup versus Astros right-hander Justin Verlander on Tuesday in the opener of this two-game interleague matchup. Pat Valaika will make another start at third base for the Rockies.
numberFire's models project Arenado to score 12.7 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,800 on Tuesday.
