Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Brandon Lowe is out of the lineup against the New York Yankees on Tuesday.
It's a routine day off for Lowe, and Mallex Smith will bump over to cover left field while Carlos Gomez returns to the lineup in right.
Lowe has yet to notch a hit through 22 plate appearance in 2018.
