David Bote heading back to Cubs' bench on Sunday
Chicago Cubs third baseman David Bote is not in the starting lineup against the Washington Nationals on Sunday.
What It Means:
After four consecutive starts, Bote will get the day off today. Ben Zobrist will enter the Cubs' lineup in his place.
The rookie out of Neosho County Community College is hitting .320 with a .371 wOBA and .411 OBP in 90 plate appearances this season.
