Dodgers' Alex Wood (hip) to be activated for Tuesday start
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Alex Wood (hip) will be activated from the disabled list to start Tuesday, manager Dave Roberts said Saturday.
Wood will miss the minimum 10 days as he last pitched on August 3. He has been sidelined with left adductor tightness. His return is welcome for an injury-depleted Dodgers' rotation.
Wood owns a 3.58 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 20.9% strikeout percentage, and 5.8 walk percentage over 123 1/3 innings pitched this season.
