Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Pat Venditte has been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
LA had an open roster spot following Kenley Jansen's (irregular heartbeat) move to the 10-day disabled list. Jansen is likely going to be out at least a month, so the switch-throwing Venditte could stick around for a while.
Venditte has struggled in a few brief appearances for LA this season, but he's been on fire in the Minors. Through 48 1/3 innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City, he has a 1.68 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and miniscule .162 BAA.
