Mike Trout (wrist) still on Angels' sidelines in Wednesday's series finale
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (wrist) is out of the starting lineup for an eighth straight game in Wednesday's series finale against the Detroit Tigers.
Trout hasn't played since last Wednesday due to a jammed right wrist, but the Angels have kept him off the disabled list and have an off day Thursday, so the hope is that he will be able to return for Friday's series opener against the Oakland Athletics. Eric Young Jr. will fill the void in center field again on Wednesday afternoon versus Detroit.
Trout has averaged 14.8 FanDuel points per game this season and is slashing .309/.459/.624 with 30 homers and 21 steals over 482 plate appearances.
