Joey Wendle out of Rays' lineup versus Angels
Tampa Bay Rays second baseman/outfielder Joey Wendle is out of Tuesday's starting lineup against the Los Angeles Angels.
Wendle has hit safely in five straight starts but he will grab a seat on the bench in Tuesday's series opener. Mallex Smith will man left field and Kevin Kiermiaer will return to center.
