Eric Lauer (forearm) lands on Padres' disabled list
San Diego Padres starting pitcher Eric Lauer has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left forearm strain.
Lauer started in Monday's extra-innings loss to the San Francisco Giants, allowing 3 earned runs over five innings, but it's not clear when he suffered the injury. The Padres called up right-hander Walker Lockett from Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding roster move.
Lauer is averaging 21.2 FanDuel points and owns a 5-7 record through 18 starts, while twirling a 5.30 ERA with 75 strikeouts and 37 walks across 86 2/3 innings.
