Joe Panik (groin) activated off the 10-day DL by the Giants
San Francisco Giants second baseman Joe Panik (groin) has been activated off the 10-day DL on Monday.
Panik has been out since early July with a groin strain but has been cleared to return to big league action. He is not in the lineup on Monday as Chase d'Arnaud is starting at second base versus the San Diego Padres. Pablo Sandoval was placed on the DL in a corresponding move.
