Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb left Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs with a left shoulder contusion.
Lamb was replaced at the plate in the third inning and is considered day-to-day for now. Daniel Descalso filled in for him at third base.
Entering Thursday, Lamb was averaging 9.3 FanDuel points per game, while slashing .223/.308/.350 with 6 home runs and 31 RBI across 237 plate appearances.
