Noah Syndergaard (illness) expected back in Nationals' rotation next week
New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (illness) is "on track" to return next week against the Washington Nationals, according to Tim Britton of The Athletic.
Syndergaard was placed on the disabled list last week for hand, foot, and mouth disease. The 25-year-old right-hander owns a 6-1 record through 13 starts this season.
Thor was averaging 35.8 FanDuel points per outing while recording a 2.89 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with 83 strikeouts and 15 walks across 74 2/3 innings.
