Francisco Cervelli (concussion) active, starting for Pirates on Thursday
Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli is active from the 7-day concussion disabled list and starting on Thursday against the New York Mets.
Cervelli hasn't played since a couple games before the All-Star break due to concussion symptoms. He will catch right-hander Nick Kingham and bat sixth versus Mets left-hander Steven Matz. Jacob Stallings was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding roster move.
numberFire's models project Cervelli to score 10.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,700 on Thursday.
