Jesse Winker (shoulder) may need stint on Reds disabled list
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker (shoulder) could be placed on the 10-day disabled list.
Winker is on the sidelines for a second straight game Wednesday due to soreness in his right shoulder. "I'm concerned about it," Reds president Dick Williams said. "We want to dig into it and make sure we have a really good handle for what it is. I could see us taking the conservative approach because his long-term health is really important to us." Phillip Ervin has started in right field in the last two games for Cincinnati.
Winker is averaging 9.0 FanDuel points per game this season, while slashing .299/.405/.431 with 7 home runs, 43 RBI, and 38 runs scored across 334 plate appearances (89 games).
