Ryne Stanek to fill in on Rays' hill Wednesday
Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryne Stanek will make a last-minute start against the New York Yankees on Wednesday afternoon.
Nathan Eovaldi was scheduled for the start but the Rays traded him to the Boston Red Sox just a few hours before first pitch. Stanek hasn't thrown more than two innings in any of his 13 starts this season, so this will likely be a bullpen game for Tampa Bay.
Stanek is averaging 7.6 FanDuel points in 31 appearances this season.
