Magneuris Sierra called up, making Marlins debut on Tuesday afternoon
Miami Marlins outfielder Magneuris Sierra has been called up from Triple-A New Orleans and is starting on Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves.
Garrett Cooper landed on the 10-day disabled list with right wrist inflammation, so Sierra was called up to take his spot on the roster. The 24-year-old was acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals in the Marcell Ozuna trade last winter. Sierra will replace Cameron Maybin in center field and bat eighth versus Braves right-hander Julio Teheran in his Marlins debut.
numberFire's models project Sierra to score 9.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,300 on Tuesday.
