J.D. Martinez out of Red Sox's lineup on Saturday
Boston Red Sox designated hitter/outfielder J.D. Martinez is out of Saturday's lineup against the Detroit Tigers.
What It Means:
Martinez may have tweaked something while making a spectacular catch in the third inning of Friday's 1-0 victory over the Tigers. Steve Pearce will handle DH duties again for Boston and Mookie Betts will replace Martinez in right field.
