New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (hip) is expected to be in the starting lineup on Friday against the New York Yankees.
Cespedes is ready to roll after hitting a 3-run bomb in his second rehab game with the Mets' Gulf Coast League affiliate on Wednesday. The 32-year-old may be used as a designated hitter for the three-game interleague set at Yankees Stadium.
Cespedes averaged 11.0 FanDuel points in 37 games during the first half, while slashing .255/.316/.474 with 8 home runs and 28 RBIs across 152 plate appearances.
