Josh Bell hits a walk-off double to carry Pirates past Brewers
Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell went 2-for-5 with a 2-run walk-off double in Sunday's 6-5 extra-innings victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.
Bell continues to connect in July, as he's batting .326 with 5 RBI and 8 runs scored through 14 games this month. He's still slashing an underwhelming .261/.342/.396 overall on the year but the strong play of late could be a sign of things to come in the second half for the 25-year-old.
On the season, Bell is averaging 8.7 FanDuel points through 96 games while adding 5 home runs, 46 RBI, and 48 runs scored across 374 plate appearances. After the break, numberFire's models project him to hit .265 with 6 homers, 30 RBI, and 28 runs scored.
