Rays' Wilson Ramos (hamstring) 'going to miss some time'

Tampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos (hamstring) is "going to miss some time," manager Kevin Cash said before Sunday's series finale against the Minnesota Twins.

What It Means:

Cash conceded that it's "not the best news" for Ramos, who was forced to exit Saturday's game against the Twins due to left hamstring tightness. He's already been ruled out of the All-Star game and it sounds like the 30-year-old backstop could be facing a lengthy stint on the disabled list. Jesus Sucre will start for the Rays at catcher on Sunday.

Ramos is averaging 10.1 FanDuel points per game this season while slashing .297/.346/.488 with 14 home runs and 53 RBI across 315 plate appearances.
