Logan Morrison (hip) lands on Twins' disabled list
Minnesota Twins first baseman/designated hitter Logan Morrison (hip) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left hip impingement.
Ehire Adrianza (hamstring) was activated from the DL in a corresponding roster move. Joe Mauer will start at first base and Willians Astudillo will play DH for the Twins on Thursday.
Morrison has struggled during his first year in Minnesota, evidenced by a .193/.287/.367 slash through his first 300 plate appearances (80 games). The 30-year-old veteran also has 11 home runs and 31 RBI while averaging 7.8 FanDuel points per game.
