Rafael Devers (shoulder) placed on Red Sox's disabled list
Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with left shoulder inflammation.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Devers was "banged up" before being held out of Wednesday's contest, so this provides some clarity. Tzu-Wei Lin has been recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket in a corresponding roster move.
Devers is averaging 9.6 FanDuel points through 89 games while slashing .241/.292/.424 with 14 home runs, 48 RBI, and 5 steals across 367 plate appearances.
