Colorado Rockies right fielder Carlos Gonzalez went 2-for-5 with a 3-run tater, a solo dinger, 6 RBI, and 4 runs scored in Wednesday's 19-2 beatdown of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Gonzalez set a new career high in runs scored during the abrupt offensive explosion and he also matched his RBI total from his previous 25 games combined. The 32-year-old veteran is slashing .275/.319/.467 with 10 home runs and 38 RBI across 263 plate appearances (72 games).
