Addison Reed (triceps) put on Twins' disabled list
Minnesota Twins reliever Addison Reed has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with right triceps tendinitis.
Reed gave up 3 runs in the ninth inning of Tuesday's loss to the Kansas City Royals, giving him a woeful 9.42 ERA over his last 14 1/3 innings dating back to the end of May, so the injury may help explain the right-hander's struggles. The Twins recalled fellow righty Alan Busenitz from Triple-A Rochester in a corresponding roster move.
Reed is 0-for-4 on save chances this season and averaging 4.3 FanDuel points through 41 outings while recording a 4.83 ERA with 37 strikeouts and 13 walks across 41 innings.
