Angels' Garrett Richards will undergo MRI on forearm
Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Garrett Richards left his start on Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners after experiencing right forearm irritation.
Richards just returned to the rotation a week ago after suffering a hamstring injury, and now he could be back on the shelf depending on the severity of his most recent injury. Richards has been great when healthy this year, but another DL stint could really hurt the Angels' wild card hopes.
Our models project Richards for a 4.36 ERA and 1.24 WHIP with 35 strikeouts over 33.0 innings remaining this season.
