Phillies' Enyel De Los Santos making MLB debut on Tuesday
The Philadelphia Phillies purchased the contract of starting pitcher Enyel De Los Santos from Triple-A Lehigh Valley and he will make his major league debut on the road Tuesday against the New York Mets.
De Los Santos recorded a 1.89 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 87 strikeouts and 31 walks across 95 1/3 innings at the Triple-A level this season. The 22-year-old right-hander was acquired from the San Diego Padres this past offseason in a deal for infielder Freddy Galvis.
