Nick Castellanos scratched from Tigers' lineup with mild wrist injury, Jim Adduci draws start Sunday
Detroit Tigers outfielder Nick Castellanos was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Texas Rangers due to mild left wrist soreness.
The mild designation suggests that Castellanos will not need to miss more than a game or two. Jim Adduci has replaced Castellanos as the Tigers' designated hitter and is batting fifth versus Rangers right-hander Austin Bibens-Dirkx. Jeimer Candelario was moved up to the two-hole.
Castellanos is averaging 11.3 FanDuel points this season while slashing a solid .301/.352/.518 with 15 home runs and 55 RBI across 383 plate appearances.
