Alex Avila (hamstring) activated, to start Saturday for D-Backs
Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Alex Avila has been activated from the disabled list and will start Saturday's game against the San Diego Padres.
Avila missed just under two weeks with strained right hamstring. While he was, for the most part, surpassed by the teams other catchers, maybe the team will be looking to see if his poor performance was due to injury. John Ryan Murphy will back him up this evening.
Avila is projected for 6.9 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,200.
