Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Kenta Maeda has been placed on paternity leave.
Maeda will leave the team to be with his family for a few days. However, having just pitched on Friday, he shouldn't miss a start before returning to the club.
Maeda finished Friday's start with 9 strikeouts and 41.1 FanDuel points in 5 2/3 innings. He's now averaging 31.2 FD points with 98 strikeouts through 80 2/3 innings.
