Paul DeJong (hand) activated from DL, starting for St. Louis on Friday

St. Louis Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong (hand) was activated from the DL and will start on Friday versus the San Francisco Giants.

What It Means:

DeJong will be at short and bat sixth on Friday after sitting out the past six weeks with a fractured hand. Yairo Munoz returns to a reserve role. Austin Gomber was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
