Miami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson (hip) is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday.
Brinson is dealing with hip inflammation, and just when he's begun to heat up at the plate (he's slashed .269/.321/.423 over his last seven games) he heads to the disabled list. The Marlins will start J.B. Shuck in center field today, and he'll likely see a fair amount more playing time until Brinson is ready for action again.
Our models project Brinson to bat .187 with 8 home runs, 19 runs, 21 RBI, and 3 stolen bases in 221 more plate appearances this year.
