Kansas City Royals outfielder Abraham Almonte is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers.
With the Royals starting a series in Milwaukee, Whit Merrifield is moving to centerfield, so Almonte will take a seat. Merrifield and the Royals will bat against right-hander Freddy Peralta.
