Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Carlos Gomez is starting on Sunday against the New York Yankees.
Gomez will man right field and bat fifth versus Yankees right-hander Domingo German in Sunday's series finale. Mallex Smith will move to left field, Joey Wendle will cover the hot corner, Matt Duffy will play designated hitter, and Jake Bauers will handle things on first base. C.J. Cron will be available off the Rays' bench.
