New York Yankees first baseman Greg Bird is not in the lineup Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Bird is taking the afternoon off as the Yankees hit against right-hander Matt Andriese. Neil Walker is sliding over to play first base while Gleyber Torres is back in the lineup at second.
Our models project Bird for a .214 batting average with 7 home runs, 18 runs scored, 21 RBI over 151 plate appearances remaining this season.
