St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Jose Martinez (shoulder) is in Thursday's lineup against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Martinez made an early exit from Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies after tweaking his shoulder but he received treatment and won't need to miss any time. The 29-year-old will bat third versus Brewers left-hander Brent Suter on Thursday. Martinez has been a stud this month, batting .385 with 5 dingers and 13 RBI across 57 June plate appearances.
