Kansas City Royals outfielder Abraham Almonte is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Texas Rangers.
Almonte served as the DH Tuesday night for the Royals, but he'll head to the bench Wednesday. Mike Moustakas is getting a turn at DH, while Ryan Goins is at the hot corner for Kansas City.
