Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman (shoulder) will return to the rotation to start Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Stroman has been on the sidelines since May 9 due to fatigue in his right shoulder, but he has since made one High-A rehab start and added another simulated game (his second rehab start was rained out).
Stroman opened 2018 with a 4.25 SIERA, 18.2% strikeout rate, 1.2% walk rate and 1.71 WHIP over 7 starts. numberFire's models project him to notch an ugly 5.06 ERA with a 1.49 WHIP over 66 innings for the remainder of the season.
