Cubs' Yu Darvish (triceps) to throw simulated game Wednesday
Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Yu Darvish (triceps) is scheduled to throw a simulated game Wednesday.
Darvish was originally scheduled to throw on Tuesday, but the session was pushed back due to Monday's postponement. If all goes well, the 31-year-old right-hander could begin a minor league rehab assignment shortly thereafter.
Darvish is averaging 27.4 FanDuel points per game during his first year with the Cubs while posting a 4.95 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 1-3 record in 40 innings pitched. He has struck out 49 while walking 21 in his 8 starts.
