Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (shoulder) is expected to make his return from the disabled list this weekend against the Los Angeles Angels.
Stroman's rehab start with Double-A New Hampshire was rained out Monday, but he still threw a simulated game, putting him on track for a weekend return. The 27-year-old right-hander went 0-5 in seven starts before landing on the DL.
Stroman is averaging 16.6 FanDuel points per game and he owns a 7.71 ERA and 1.71 WHIP with 32 strikeouts and 18 walks across 37 1/3 innings this season.
