Washington Nationals pitcher Jeremy Hellickson (hamstring) will toss a simulated game on Tuesday.
Hellickson has been out of action since June 3 when he left a start after two batters with a hamstring strain. The ANtionals will decide what the next step in Hellickson's recovery will be following the sim game on Tuesday. He could be back sometime in early-July.
Hellickson tossed 43 1/3 innings with a 2.28 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and 34 strikeouts before the injury.
