Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Daniel Descalso is playing designated hitter against the Los Angeles Angels on Monday.
Descalso will handle DH duties and bat fifth versus Angels right-hander Jaime Barria as the Diamondbacks open a two-game interleague set on the road.
