Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed is starting against the Los Angeles Angels on Monday.
Ahmed will take back over at shortstop and batting seventh versus Angels right-hander Jaime Barria after he came off the Diamondbacks' bench in Sunday's contest. Ketel Marte will return to second base and Daniel Descalso will play designated hitter in this interleague matchup.
