Dominic Smith not starting for Mets on Monday
New York Mets first baseman Dominic Smith is out of the lineup on Monday against the Colorado Rockies.
What It Means:
Wilmer Flores will get the start at first base with left-hander Tyler Anderson starting for the Rockies. Smith will be available off the bench.
Smith is slashing just .211/.250/.421 through 20 plate appearances, but hit his first home run of the season last Friday.
