Elvis Andrus (elbow) active, starting for Rangers in Monday's series opener

Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus (elbow) is active from the disabled list and starting versus the Kansas City Royals in Monday's series opener.

What It Means:

Andrus missed over two months with the Rangers due to a fractured right elbow he suffered when being hit by a pitch. The 29-year-old will take back over at shortstop Monday and bat second versus Royals right-hander Ian Kennedy. Jurickson Profar will move to second base and Rougned Odor will be available off the bench.

numberFire's models project Andrus to score 8.8 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,200 on Monday.
