Philadelphia Phillies infielder J.P. Crawford is starting against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday afternoon.
Crawford will replace Scott Kingery at shortstop and bat ninth versus Rockies right-hander German Marquez in Thursday's series finale. He struck out as a pinch-hitter on Wednesday.
