Rangers moving Matt Moore to bullpen role
Texas Rangers pitcher Matt Moore is being moved to a bullpen role.
The Rangers announced on Wednesday that they will start Yohander Mendez on Friday, so Moore will be moved to the pen. The Rangers' lefty is 1-5 with a lofty 7.88 ERA, so if Mendez pitches well, there is a chance this move could be permanent. Mendez hasn't exactly lit it up this season in Triple-A though, posting a 5.26 ERA over 51.1 minor league innings.
Our early models for Friday project Mendez for 28.2 FanDuel points against the Colorado Rockies.
